Cosentino’s New Mineral Surface Is Designed To Withstand Heat

Published on

The family-owned Spanish megabrand behind Dekton and Silestone innovates yet again, launching Éclos by Cosentino: a mineral surface built in layers to create a more detailed natural appearance. The through-body designs, with an inner core composed of 88 percent recycled content, are crafted with the aid of advanced robotics, resulting in dimensional patterning with unique veins and gradients integrated right to the edges. And courtesy of the company’s proprietary Inlayr technology, the surface can withstand temperatures up to 428 degrees—including hot pans right from stove. Another plus? The inaugural collection of the Éclos brand, Eclectic Veins, shown here in Legnd, has zero crystalline silica in its formulation. Hear, hear!
