Design style
With the emergence of a variety of interior design styles on the market today, choosing a suitable style that both ensures aesthetics and functionality while expressing its own “quality” is a problem that homeowners pose to architects. And with this Eco Green apartment interior design project with an area of up to 130m2, Decox Design has applied a modern style with luxurious and sophisticated highlights. The house is the crystallization of a harmonious combination of materials, colors and light to give the homeowner a living space that is not only beautiful in appearance but also a place to regain energy and balance emotions after a long, busy day of life.
Living room
The spacious modern living room space is dominated by white and wood tones, dotted with a bit of elegant gray tones. White tones with gentle and delicate beauty when combined with warm wood tones will help the room look like it’s wearing a luxurious yet warm outfit. Besides, to make the sofa area more attractive, the architect installed marble on the wooden floor right in the TV area. This design can both create an impressive highlight and enhance the class of the apartment.
On the other hand, one of the problems that this type of apartment often encounters is the lack of light. Insufficient lighting not only causes loss of aesthetics, making the space more cramped and stuffy, but also negatively affects the mood of family members. Therefore, to solve this problem, Decox Design chose an open design between the living and kitchen areas and used large glass doors to make the most of natural light entering the house.
Dining room
The dining area is arranged next to the living room in an open design to create spaciousness and airiness for the space. Typically, apartments with large areas will use dining tables designed in a rectangular shape to fill the space and have plenty of seating. However, in this design, it is completely the opposite. To make the family relationship closer and give the aftertaste of the dishes more delicious, we decided to use a round table combined with a ceiling lamp that radiates warm yellow light in this area.
Kitchen
Thanks to the advantage in area and the homeowner’s practical needs, the architect divided the kitchen area as a separate space to create comfort and privacy for the chef. Here, in addition to the I-shaped kitchen, fully equipped with upper and lower kitchen cabinets so that the homeowner has more storage space for digital utensils, there is also a convenient kitchen island with integrated bar. The island and bar not only serves to prepare food for cooking, decorate food or a place to “chill” with delicious dishes, in this case the kitchen island also acts as an object used to delineate the function of the kitchen from the rest of the areas in the house.
The kitchen design also integrates a large glass cabinet system to display precious wine bottles, both serving the homeowner’s collecting passion and serving as a highlight for the space. Next to the wine cabinet, there is a small round table to create convenience in “enjoying drinks”. What’s better than being able to fondle glasses of quality wine while watching the bustling city outside through the glass window?
