Anchored by sweeping curves, sculptural form and a quiet coastal grandeur, Shell House is a private residence shaped by light, texture and retreat.

Its distinctive upper level unfolds like a series of shells; curved, protective and softly articulated, hovering above a grounded pavilion of arches, stone and glass. The architecture balances strength and softness, creating a home that feels both monumental and deeply calming.

Oriented to capture the movement of the sun, the breeze and the water, Shell House is designed as an immersive coastal sanctuary. Deep overhangs, layered terraces and framed outlooks create a seamless relationship between inside and out, while offering privacy, shade and a sense of enclosure.

From the arched living spaces to the poolside terraces and fire-lit evening settings, the home is made for slow mornings, long lunches and quiet nights by the water. Elegant, expansive and unmistakably sculptural, Shell House reflects Joe Adsett’s approach to architecture as both experience and escape.
