Located at the entrance to Ried im Innkreis, Austria, the new Team 7 headquarters reflects the company’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and timeless design. Designed by Matulik Architekten and D\D Landschaftsplanung ZT KG, the project continues Team 7’s focus on natural materials, local production, and environmental responsibility.

Rooted in sustainability
For decades, Team 7 has been a leader in sustainable furniture manufacturing, overseeing every step from raw material to finished product. While their focus has always been on indoor furniture, the new headquarters called for outdoor spaces that aligned with their values. The goal was to create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, while reinforcing the brand’s core values of durability, independence, and responsible craftsmanship. Vestre was selected as the ideal partner, thanks to our shared commitment to quality, longevity, and environmental responsibility.

Furnishing an outdoor vision
To enhance the outdoor spaces, a selection of Vestre’s urban furniture was incorporated:
YPSILON benches—offering comfortable seating for employees and visitors.
VROOM bike racks—supporting sustainable mobility with secure bicycle parking.
VIA benches—creating inviting rest areas throughout the headquarters.

“A highlight of Vestre’s furniture at Team 7 Welt is the color design of the steel surfaces, transitioning from dark to light grey for a smooth, inviting flow toward the entrance. This simple color choice, made possible by a selection of 200 RAL colors, helps the furniture blend seamlessly with the architecture while also making the outdoor area more attractive,” says Alexandra Gierlinger, architect and project manager at Matulik Architekten (Ried im Innkreis).

A perfect fit for Team 7’s vision
The collaboration with Vestre ensured that the outdoor furniture met the same high standards as Team 7’s own products. With a clear and minimalist Scandinavian design, the selected pieces integrate seamlessly into the overall architectural concept. Team 7 says that the durable materials and market-leading sustainability credentials of Vestre’s products made them the perfect fit for this project.
By choosing Vestre, Team 7 successfully extended its philosophy beyond interior spaces, creating a building that is not only a place of work but a statement of sustainable and thoughtful design.
