德珈设计：我们希望这座新建的城市机场航站楼，不仅是一座现代化的交通枢纽，更将成为重庆面向世界敞开的时代新窗：它既是这座5D之城的空中门户，也是山水重庆的未来之姿。在这座充满未来感的花园式国际机场，建筑与自然互融，空间与人文共生，彰显重庆独特的空间魅力与未来的无限可能。

DEAL：We envision that this new city airport terminal will be more than just a modern transportation hub—it will become a new window for Chongqing to open up to the world. It will serve as both the aerial gateway to this 5D city and a representation of Chongqing’s future, where mountains and rivers converge. In this futuristic garden-style international airport, architecture and nature blend seamlessly, while space and humanity coexist harmoniously, showcasing Chongqing’s unique spatial charm and its limitless future possibilities.

01[L3出发层：微缩的山水重庆]

L3 Departure Level: A Miniature Landscape of Chongqing

奔腾不息的嘉陵江遇上世界三大褶皱山系之一的川东平行岭谷地质带，开辟出这座独特而瑰丽的城市。以“山”、“江”为源，汲取独属于这座城市的空间气质。将空港中的花园打造成一座“微缩重庆”，让旅客在候机时便已置身山峦起伏、江水绵延的意境之中。让等待，也成为旅行的一部分。

The surging Jialing River, meeting the geological belt of the Eastern Sichuan Parallel Ridge-Valley, one of the world’s three major fold mountain systems, has shaped this uniquely magnificent city. Drawing inspiration from “mountains” and “rivers” as its source, the design captures the distinctive spatial character of Chongqing. Transforming the airport garden into a “miniature Chongqing,” it immerses travelers in the ambiance of undulating hills and winding rivers even while waiting for their flights. Here, the wait itself becomes an integral part of the journey.

02[山在城里，城在山上]-北庭院，山意沉浸

The city is nestled among mountains, and mountains are embraced by the city

以褶皱山形与溶洞幽谷为灵感，通过垂直线性空间营造峡谷意境。植栽选用乌桕、鸡爪槭、巫山红叶等本土彩叶树种，四季流转，斑斓如画；蜿蜒穿越树梢的红色阶梯，如腾飞的凤凰翎羽，意态优雅，翱翔天际。

Inspired by the undulating mountain folds and serene karst valleys, the design crafts a canyon-like atmosphere through the use of vertical linear spaces. Native colorful foliage such as the Chinese tallow tree, Japanese maple, and Wushan red-leafed plants are thoughtfully selected, creating a picturesque scene that shifts with the seasons. A winding red staircase, resembling the soaring feathers of a phoenix, elegantly traverses the treetops, evoking a sense of graceful flight into the sky.

绵延的山脉与远古松林，是时间长河中亿万年的变迁记忆。在起伏的山林之间植入趣味的活动空间，在攀爬与探索之中感受山野之趣，引导孩子们走向无限可能的天地。

The rolling mountain ranges and ancient pine forests bear witness to eons of transformation across the vast river of time. Within these undulating woodlands, engaging activity spaces have been thoughtfully integrated, inviting children to experience the joy of the wilderness through climbing and exploration. Here, young minds are guided toward a world of infinite possibilities.

03[江在城中，城在江里]-南庭院，江韵悠然

提取喀斯特地貌与两江交汇的意象，由立体交通构建出神秘而鲜活的溪谷聚场。水流与光影交织，江滩共长天一色，营造出舒缓而静谧的沉浸式自然声景。

Drawing inspiration from the imagery of karst landscapes and the confluence of two rivers, the design creates a mysterious yet vibrant valley-like gathering space through multi-level transportation networks. Here, flowing water intertwines with shifting light and shadow, while the riverbanks blend seamlessly with the vast sky, evoking a serene and immersive natural soundscape that soothes the senses.

每一个重庆人关于夏天的记忆里，都一定有一处竹溪。溪水自山间而下，竹林深处有人家，‌溪流淙淙，孩童嬉戏。设计以竹林与山溪为蓝本，打造身临其境的戏水空间。驻足等待间，唤起关于重庆的一抹清凉意境。

In the summer memories of every Chongqing native, there is always a place like Bamboo Creek. The stream flows down from the mountains, weaving through bamboo groves where homes nestle, with the gentle murmur of water accompanying the laughter of playing children. Inspired by bamboo forests and mountain streams, the design creates an immersive water-play space. Amid moments of pause and waiting, it evokes a refreshing, cool imagery uniquely associated with Chongqing

04[L4两舱层：云中观飞平台]

L4 Airport Lounge Level: Cloud Viewing Terrace

在L4两舱层观飞平台，绿意如云蔓延，形成自由舒展的空中花园。以“流云”为灵感的廊架轻盈漂浮，既是休憩之所，也是摄影焦点。与之呼应的是重庆城市精神的象征—— “火凤凰”主题雕塑它不仅是贯穿室内外始终的T3B精神图腾线索，更是旅客必打卡的空中地标。在这里，静观飞机起落，闲坐沐风望远。设计也贴心设置了远离人群的隐蔽式户外吸烟点，兼顾不同需求。

On the L4 Cloud Viewing Terrace, lush greenery extends like drifting clouds, forming a freely unfolding aerial garden. Lightweight canopies inspired by “flowing clouds” float gently above, serving as both resting places and photography focal points. In harmony with this is the “Fire Phoenix” thematic sculpture, a symbol of Chongqing’s urban spirit. It acts not only as a continuous spiritual totem that connects indoor and outdoor spaces throughout Terminal 3B but also as an iconic aerial landmark for travelers to visit. Here, one can quietly watch planes take off and land, or sit back and enjoy the breeze while taking in distant views. The design also thoughtfully includes a secluded outdoor smoking area away from the crowd, catering to diverse needs.

05智慧机场的温情设计

Human-Centered Design in a Smart Airport

以数据读懂旅客，以场景回应需求：通过大数据分析，我们发现：80%旅客停留不超过2小时 → 打造“即时可享”的微旅程体验70%旅客为18-45岁群体 → 融合打卡、互动与静谧并存的多元场景这意味着——机场不再只是“路过”，更成为旅途的 “序章”。

Understanding Travelers Through Data, Responding to Needs Through Scenarios: Big data analysis reveals that 80% of travelers stay for no more than two hours → We create “instant-access” micro-journey experiences. Meanwhile, 70% of travelers are aged 18–45 → We integrate diverse scenarios that combine photo spots, interactive elements, and tranquil spaces. This means the airport is no longer just a “stopover” but becomes the “prelude” to the journey.

Chongqing Jiangbei Airport Terminal 3B is not merely an airport—it is a window to the city, nestled within a garden. It marks not just the beginning of a journey but an invitation to encounter the poetic landscape of Chongqing, where mountains and rivers converge.
