Girasoles

The project reinforces and dialogues with the architecture. Consolidating different shrubby atmospheres, sometimes shared across more than one area to create a unique language, and at other times, individual to give uniqueness.

You are received by clusters of dwarf pines flanked by shrubs; magnolias initiate a dialogue between exterior and interior. This transitional area gives way to a perimeter path accompanied by an “apantle” (water canal). It crosses copses of “palo mulato” (Bursera simaruba) that permeate light to a vast carpet of liriope grass, which blooms seasonally. They always culminate in transitions of mixed aromatic shrubs, they centered a breakfast space in one of these.

They placed strategic accents with compositions of colossal rocks, resulting from excavation, and in the four corners groups of fruit trees.

The contemplative patio is an immersive space, delimited by slopes of ferns shaded by “cacalosuchil” trees (Plumeria obtusa). In the center is an imposing Ceiba tree, with a base of round stones, moss, gravel and an irregular walkway.
