Designers reveal clever ways to spruce up a humdrum bath

Skip Sroka, ASID, of Sroka Design let the architecture take center stage in this Bethesda bath, which he softened with a skirted armchair and sheers on the lower windows. “Keep it clean-looking and work with what you have,” he says.

 

 


Quick fixes include installing a new mirror, sconces or hardware. Replacing faucets or light fixtures can also add big impact.
