Warner Bros Discovery’s new program “Building Icons: Tao Zhu Yin Yuan” entered the “Tao Zhu Yin Yuan” – by Vincent Callebaut Architectures – which was selected as one of the nine new buildings in the city by CNN for the first time, and revealed how this world-class sustainable architectural landmark can be integrated in architecture, humanistic spirit and art. Green energy, construction methods and other fields combine the spirit of sustainability and make breakthroughs to become the global benchmark for future architecture! After 11 years of construction, Tao Zhu Yin Yuan has transformed from a bold prototype that no one dared to challenge to a sustainable architectural landmark, practicing various technical construction methods that were considered impossible in a friendly and ecological way that respects nature. From the DNA double helix that constitutes the code of life to the high-level earthquake-proof specifications that can resist the 2,500-year earthquake return cycle, the engineering difficulty is the most difficult in the world. With the addition of excess rainwater recovery, 6 wind power generation, solar panels, renewable energy equipment, and a large number of trees and shrubs that can absorb carbon, it is a vertical forest art building. From the perspective of protecting people and the environment, this building has driven the construction industry to incorporate energy-saving, carbon-reducing and carbon-absorbing thinking, and reversed the climate crisis. It has become the light of Taiwanese architecture that once again leapt to the international scene after Taipei 101 and Taichung National Opera House.
