Perched atop the 35th and 36th floors of Indeed Tower in Austin, this rooftop terrace was designed to be a high-altitude refuge — a place to gather, take in the skyline, and connect. To bring that vision to life, TBG Partners needed furniture that could deliver custom curvature and elevated design — without the costs or lead times of custom fabrication.
Tailored solutions using a modular system
Vestre’s modular VROOM system provided the perfect foundation — but it wasn’t a plug-and-play install. Working closely with the landscape architect, we adapted and modified more than 50 modules to meet the specific design vision and spatial requirements of the rooftop terrace. The result is a fully integrated seating system that feels bespoke, yet is built on a durable, scalable framework. By tailoring standard components instead of creating entirely custom pieces, we helped the design team achieve their vision more efficiently — reducing cost and complexity without compromising form, function, or longevity.
The project team selected Vestre not only for the aesthetic but for the practical advantages: modular flexibility to match the custom forms envisioned by the design team, lower cost compared to millwork, and long-term durability backed by a lifetime anti-rust warranty and 15-year wood warranty.
“VROOM gave us the design freedom we wanted and the technical solution we needed — all at a price point that made sense.” – TBG Partners
