When Aralia were commissioned by our residential clients to transform the front and rear gardens and the driveway of this property, it was in need of a total renovation; our clients clearly wanted the best and had a fantastic eye for detail. Taking inspiration from the Victorian architecture of the property, we created a courtyard garden that was both in keeping with the Victorian interior of the house, as well as being contemporary. Aralia worked as Landscape Designers to transform the courtyard garden into the sensual escape from urban life that the clients required, creating a private intimate space where our clients could be surrounded by lush planting, providing them with that feeling of calm, tranquillity and relaxation that they sought. The journey with the client was a true collaboration and delivered a stunning courtyard garden.
Aralia provided a full Design & Build service for this courtyard garden project, taking the project from concept through to full implementation of the whole masterplan.

‘I thoroughly recommend the services provided by Aralia Garden Design; Patricia and her team have a flexible working style and really listen to your requirements and ideas – the designs incorporate fresh and interesting concepts so you feel you are getting something unique and special. Patricia skillfully guides you through a multitude of choices; the detailed and colorful design drawings really help you visualize how everything will look in the end. The creative process is rarely straightforward and achieving my wonderful garden involved overcoming the occasional challenge along the way; throughout it all Patricia maintained a calm, practical and down-to-earth approach which is a great asset. I am very pleased with the end result; the outside spaces enrich my quality of life – I have also learnt many new plant names! – Excellent job, well done!’
