Design floor plan

Design style

With the requirement to renovate one floor of the house to turn this place into a true “apartment” space serving the family’s living and resting, Decox Design has advocated dividing the premises into functional areas including: living room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and secondary bedroom.
Overall, the interior space brings a sense of luxury and sophistication with modern style playing a leading role combined with high-quality materials, furniture and skillful mixing of colors and lighting. Although using a mix of main neutral tones seems simple and boring, the clever addition of hot colors on the interior and decorations has made the house seem like it’s “transformed”. This interior design not only brings visual stimulation but also creates a highlight to make the space more attractive and seductive.

Living room – Dining room

The living room area has a simple but not monotonous layout. With just a single set of cream-colored sofas contrasting with a tea table, a stylish black-toned corner table combined with a youthful orange armchair, it creates a “closed” space that is both elegant and unconventional, impressive. On the other hand, the harmony between cold materials typical of modern style such as stone, glass, rustic wood, and soft fabric has contributed to harmonizing and balancing the space, thereby creating a luxurious but no less cozy and comfortable space.

Next to the living room is the dining area. Here, the architect used a large dining table set that can be used by 8 – 10 members. In particular, the center of this area must include the black lightning marble dining table set combined with soft leather dining chairs and ceiling lights with unique designs and personality, suggesting a high-end overall, suitable for the general style that the concept is aiming for.

Kitchen

The living room, kitchen and dining room are all designed in an open format to create spaciousness and airiness for the space and ensure convenience in moving and living. The kitchen is designed in a U shape, in which one side of the kitchen can be flexibly used as a mini bar, this helps increase usability while secretly delineating the kitchen space from other areas and ensuring the necessary privacy for the person in charge of the kitchen. The colors and materials used in this space still adhere to the modern, high-class spirit of the house with a combination of three tones of black – gray – wood that are both luxurious and close and familiar.

Master bedroom

The master bedroom possesses elegant and sophisticated beauty with European-style furniture. Instead of placing both bedside cabinets at the same time, the architect removed one cabinet and replaced it with a wall-mounted dressing table to save space and bring a new, unique look to the whole. An impressive point in the functional layout is the design of the dressing room located between the master bedroom and the kitchen and can be opened to both sides thanks to a convenient sliding glass door system.

Secondary bedroom

The bedroom space is unique with a combination of deep color tones. The special feature of this concept is that the interior is designed in the form of a “combo” with sizes that are “tailored” to enhance the beauty of the living space. In addition to color, lighting elements are also emphasized to create a romantic, cozy atmosphere and pamper a good night’s sleep. The most visible are the lights arranged on the headboard and at the foot of the bed, creating a highlight for the central area of the room. In addition, lights are also arranged along the shelves to “light up” important functions in the room.

WC

By covering all walls with stone, combined with high-class furniture, it has contributed to the luxurious decoration of the WC space. Instead of using a wall mirror in the sink area, the architect flexibly arranged a mirrored cabinet system outside that both has the same function and increases storage space and creates the effect of expanding the space.
