A rendering of Trump Tower Tbilisi designed by Gensler has been made public by the development team behind the $2 billion venture.
Trump Tower Tbilisi will measure approximately 70 stories and be the “tallest building in Georgia” upon completion according to The Trump Organization.
Gensler was announced as the project architect in April, not long after controversial plans for a Trump International Hotel in Belgrade, Serbia, were terminated in February.
Multistory signage that reads “TRUMP” will crown the top of Trump Tower Tbilisi. The letters will certainly be visible from afar, not unlike Trump International in Chicago.
The facade of Trump Tower Tbilisi will have gothic arches at its base. Trees will be located on the roof as well as inside a cavity on the upper half.
The tower will anchor a major new development in downtown Tbilisi. The development will have a total of six “architecturally distinctive towers,” with Trump Tower Tbilisi as the “defining centerpiece.”
Each of the towers will have podium levels that extend the building footprint. The 600,000-square-foot mixed-use project will offer shopping, dining, hotel, and entertainment options.
Development partners working on the project include The Sapir Organization, Biograpi Living, Archi Group, Blox Group, and Finvest Georgia.
The development team previously said in a joint statement that it is capitalizing on the growing number of “international investors and second-home buyers” moving to Tbilisi.
A construction timeline hasn’t been shared.
